One of my favorite high school portrait lens is my 70-200mm VRII. Not only is this lens crisp but it brings a smoothing bokeh effect in the background when in environments with great depth. This allows a smooth pop between subject and background where all focus is on the subject. It truly defines all my high school senior portraits! It doens't matter if your in the back alleys of Redlands or the wilderness in Oak Glen and open fields of San Jacinto. This lens can go where it needs to take great photos and it does it well.
