?Ember Rian Photography was featured in Redlands Daily Facts with more than a dozen other area photographers who got together to remember Detective MacKay and Officer Crain raising funds for their families. As a long time resident of the area, the Dorner manhunt was very real to us. Though we weren't a part of the man hunt or the fire fight, we know at least a handful of people who were there and were directly involved. These brave warriors are our friends, and these places were these tragedies occured are our backyards. This is our town. This is our community. This is were we call home. Officer Crain, Detective MacKay, we say to you with gracious hearts, "Thank you for your service."
I was at a meeting the other night at the Yucaipa Sheriff's station (where Detective MacKay used to work). The Captain said that the employees are doing better now and aree starting to laugh again. I can't imagine how hard it has been this last month for everyone involoved, especially the families.
